Trips and Visits at Dawn House School:

At Dawn House School, trips and visits are an essential extension of our curriculum, offering students meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that enhance their academic and personal growth. Each trip is thoughtfully designed to link with classroom learning, giving pupils the chance to explore new environments, practice their communication skills, and build confidence beyond the school setting. Whether exploring local sites of interest, engaging in outdoor activities, or participating in cultural visits, students across all areas of the school have access to activities that support and enrich their development.

We are proud to offer residential trips at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including popular destinations such as PGL adventure centers and the scenic Robin Hood’s Bay. These residentials provide students with valuable opportunities to build independence, strengthen friendships, and develop resilience.

Looking ahead, we are excited to offer a school ski trip in February 2026, inviting students to experience the challenges and rewards of skiing in a supportive environment. Through all our trips and visits, we aim to create unforgettable memories and foster skills that our pupils will carry with them for life.
