On Tuesday 22nd April, our enthusiastic Primary 1 pupils set off on a wild and wonderful adventure to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park – and what a fantastic day it turned out to be!

From the moment they arrived, the children were wide-eyed with wonder as they explored the park, discovering incredible animals from around the world. They saw majestic lions basking in the sunshine, cheeky monkeys swinging through the trees, and even came face-to-face with the towering giraffes!

Staff were proud of how well the pupils represented the school – showing kindness, excitement, and great listening skills throughout the trip.

The visit to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park has certainly sparked a love for nature and wildlife among our Primary 1 pupils – and we’re sure this will be a memory they’ll treasure for a long time.
