Lower School Explores LEGO Discovery Birmingham

On Wednesday, our Lower School students had the opportunity to take part in an unforgettable adventure to LEGO Discovery in Birmingham, as part of their exciting topic on “Toys Past and Present.” With bright eyes and eager smiles, the children were immersed in a world where imagination meets construction, exploring the endless possibilities of LEGO play.

The trip allowed our students to delve deep into the fascinating history of toys, comparing how toys have evolved over time. From classic wooden toys to modern-day LEGO sets, the children gained a greater appreciation for the craftsmanship and creativity behind the toys they love. LEGO Discovery Birmingham offered a hands-on experience, where students could engage in interactive exhibits, build their own creations, and even marvel at life-sized LEGO models that sparked their imaginations.

A big thank you to Mrs. Morritt for organizing this fantastic outing!

Our visit to LEGO Discovery was more than just a fun day out—it was a chance to discover how toys have shaped our play and creativity throughout history.
