Celebrating World Book Day 2025

Day of Creativity and Fun at Dawn House School!

Celebrating World Book Day 2025

World Book Day 2025 at Dawn House School was an unforgettable celebration of books, creativity, and imagination! Our pupils and staff went above and beyond with their incredible costumes, making it a day to remember. From Minions to wizards, and even a surprise appearance from Peter Andre, the school was filled with vibrant characters straight out of storybooks.

The morning was packed with exciting activities that kept everyone engaged and inspired. Pupils had a blast participating in a range of book-themed challenges, including a thrilling “Find the Blue Monster” activity in Forest Schools, where students ventured into the outdoors on a quest to locate the mischievous creature. They also had the opportunity to discover and share their teachers’ favourite books, creating deeper connections to the stories that shape our lives.

Creative minds were in full force as students designed their own unique characters, and we even got the chance to step into the world of filmmaking with some green-screen fun! In 6th form they worked on a “Who Dunnit” film, where pupils worked together to crack a mystery and bring it to life on screen.

A special thank you goes out to Ms. Drewnik and all of our wonderful staff members for their hard work in making this day possible. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to create a truly memorable World Book Day experience for all.
