Last half-terms story writing competition had around 20 fantastic entries spanning across horror, comedy, and adventure genres, some even accompanied by imaginative illustrations, our students have truly showcased their storytelling prowess.

The competition’s entries were reviewed by our judges, Mrs. McConnell and Mr. Norman, who faced the challenging task of selecting the top stories. After much deliberation, the winners were unveiled during this morning’s assembly, and the results are as follows:

🏆 1st Place: Cordell – For an outstanding adventure story, enriched with impressive vocabulary and a well-structured narrative.

🥈 2nd Place: Evie – Recognized for her fantastic adventure story with a compelling plot.

🥉 3rd Place: Leo – Honored for a humorous and adventurous tale that captivated readers.

Special awards were also presented to Lilly, Zane, and Hannah for their excellent contributions and remarkable effort. Their dedication and creativity did not go unnoticed, and they were celebrated alongside the top winners.

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part in this year’s competition. Your storytelling skills are a testament to your creativity and hard work. We can’t wait to see what stories you will create next year!
